Lumashot is built to work on your device. Your screenshots, recordings, and the content of the pages you capture never leave your computer and are never sent to us or to anyone else. The only data that reaches us is what is needed to run your licence — never your content.
We run no servers that receive your content, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data. There are no accounts to browse the web, no analytics, and no tracking. The one small exception is licence management, explained below.
We collect nothing about your content or browsing — no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no remote code, and no files or page data ever reach us. The single exception is licence management: to run your 7-day free trial or a paid licence, our licence server receives a random install id, your licence key, and the purchase email from your order. That is all it ever receives — never a screenshot, recording, or page.

Paid plans are sold and processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Your payment details are handled entirely by Gumroad under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your card or payment information.
To start your free trial or activate Pro, the extension contacts our licence server and sends only a random install id, your licence key, and the purchase email from your order. It never sends screenshots, recordings, or page content. The server verifies the key with Gumroad, enforces the per-licence device limit (up to 3 devices), and returns a short-lived signed token. All of this travels over HTTPS, is used only to manage your entitlement, is never sold or shared, and can be deleted on request. Your licence status is cached locally and re-checked periodically; it keeps working offline in between.
If you choose to save a capture to Google Drive or Dropbox, Lumashot uploads that one file to your own account using an authorization you grant through Google's or Dropbox's own sign-in. The file goes directly from your browser to your cloud — we never receive the file and never store your account or tokens. This stays off until you connect an account and pick it for a save.
When you remove Lumashot, Chrome opens a short feedback page hosted on our server. That page collects nothing automatically — it only shows information and an optional email link if you choose to tell us why you left.
We do not sell or share your data, and we never receive your content. The only outbound network requests Lumashot makes are: (1) licence trial/activation/verification to our licence server (a random install id, your licence key, your purchase email); (2) any cloud save you start, uploaded to your own Google Drive or Dropbox; and (3) when you uninstall, Chrome opens our feedback page, which collects nothing unless you choose to email us.
You can clear all local data from the extension at any time. To delete the install/licence record held by our licence server (install id, licence key, email), email us and we will remove it.
Lumashot is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and the version published with the extension.

لبدء التجربة المجانية أو تفعيل Pro، تتّصل الإضافة بـخادم الترخيص لدينا وترسل فقط معرّف تثبيت عشوائيًا، ومفتاح الترخيص، وبريد الشراء من طلبك. ولا يرسل أبدًا أي لقطة أو تسجيل أو محتوى صفحة. يتحقّق الخادم من المفتاح لدى Gumroad، ويطبّق حدّ الأجهزة لكل ترخيص (حتى 3 أجهزة)، ويعيد توكنًا موقَّعًا قصير العمر. كل ذلك يمرّ عبر HTTPS، ويُستخدم فقط لإدارة اشتراكك، ولا يُباع أو يُشارَك، ويمكن حذفه عند الطلب. تُخزَّن حالة ترخيصك محليًا ويُعاد التحقّق منها دوريًا، وتستمر بالعمل دون اتصال بينهما.
إذا اخترت حفظ لقطة إلى Google Drive أو Dropbox، ترفع Lumashot ذلك الملف إلى حسابك أنت عبر إذن تمنحه من خلال تسجيل دخول Google أو Dropbox نفسه. ينتقل الملف مباشرةً من متصفّحك إلى سحابتك — فنحن لا نستلم الملف ولا نخزّن حسابك أو مفاتيحك. تبقى معطَّلة حتى تربط حسابًا وتختاره للحفظ.
عند إزالة Lumashot، يفتح Chrome صفحة تغذية راجعة قصيرة مُستضافة على خادمنا. تلك الصفحة لا تجمع شيئًا تلقائيًا — تعرض معلومات فقط ورابط بريد اختياريًا إن أردت إخبارنا بسبب مغادرتك.
لا نبيع بياناتك أو نشاركها، ولا نستلم محتواك أصلًا. الطلبات الخارجية الوحيدة التي تقوم بها Lumashot هي: (1) تجربة/تفعيل/تحقّق الترخيص إلى خادم الترخيص لدينا (معرّف تثبيت عشوائي، مفتاح الترخيص، بريد الشراء)؛ (2) أي حفظ سحابي تبدؤه أنت، يُرفَع إلى حسابك في Google Drive أو Dropbox؛ (3) عند إلغاء التثبيت، يفتح Chrome صفحة التغذية الراجعة لدينا، وهي لا تجمع شيئًا إلا إن اخترت مراسلتنا.
يمكنك مسح كل البيانات المحلية من الإضافة في أي وقت. ولحذف سجلّ التثبيت/الترخيص المحفوظ لدى خادم الترخيص (معرّف التثبيت، مفتاح الترخيص، البريد)، راسِلنا وسنحذفه.
